This is the 38 page booklet. Elizabeth David, a celebrated cook for many years, wrote about the different types of Le Creuset cookware and recipes using them. Covers are beige with illustration to front. There is some dustiness to front along with lights marks and patch where a label has been removed leaving. Back is lightly scuffed. Contents are clean and unmarked. A useful little booklet even now. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.

The back cover is lightly dusty in a few spots with a light crease otherwise very good. The spiral binder is very good. Contents are without writing etc. A few light age spots to edges. Overall, a very good copy of this item that describes how to care for the cookware as well as recipes. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.

The rear cover annotated by Elizabeth David in blue ink with the publication date "September 1963". The contents, with Elizabeth David's handwritten emendation in blue ink on the last page of text, the occasional finger mark to the margins and a bit of toning at the edges are otherwise clean. Scarce in presentation state. Inscribed on the inside front cover "To Joanna / with love / Elizabeth / November 12th 1963". Loosely laid in is a pertinent single page letter to the same recipientfrom Elizabeth David on her Halsey Street letterhead reading in part "Dear Joanna / I'm afraid this will be useless as a coffee table, footstool or meat-press - and oh dear, if you only knew how I battled with Heather Standring to get the cover drawing right - But I gave up in the end.
