Fine in very good dustjacket (s), with some inevitable fading of the spine background, from ochre to green, not affecting the black lettering, in a very good illustrated & lettered slipcase. Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. A fine copy, in fine dust jackets, of this two-volume slip-cased set. The brown cloth bindings are immaculate - clean, unworn, unbumped and with tight, square corners. The contents are fresh and bright with no ownership inscriptions or any other markings of any kind. The dust jackets are unclipped (no price to the flaps), showing almost no discernible wear to the edges. The only thing to note is a very slight fade to the spines. The slipcase, bearing a striking portrait of Bosman, has a couple of bumps but is otherwise clean, strong and fully intact - no splits anywhere. From the blurb: "It is fair to say that all the stories, essays, chronicles, sketches, poems and novels that have made him South Africa's best-loved writer are included in this unprecedented monument in publishing in this country".
