Lediglich zwei Hauptfiguren kommen in mehreren Romanen vor: Der Ex-Jockey und Privatdetektiv Sid Halley (Odds Against, Whip Hand, Come To Grief und Under Orders) und der Jockey Kit Fielding (Break In und Bolt).
