Cover story on the trial of Francisco "Kiko" Martinez, a lawyer activist charged with a plot to mail letter bombs, including one to a Denver policewoman. The article describes the charges as fabricated to neutralize an activist. Martinez was eventually exonerated of the charges, after evidence was "lost" and it became clear that the prosecution had worked inappropriately with one of the judges.
