First edition, slipcased hardcover limited to 186 copies, ex-library with small peels to the front pastedown, and a brief pencil notation to the tail of the copyright page. The book has a mild lean to the binding, a small scuff to the leather at the head of the spine, some light spots and smudges to the covers, and a previous owner's plate to the front pastedown. Overall, this is a solid, tight, Near Very Good copy in a plain, like dust jacket, which has a title window cut to the spine, a tear from the head of the spine to the window, rubbing with smudging to the covers, bumps with creasing to the corners, and sunning to the spine. Housed in a Good+ slipcase, which has uneven sunning, rubbing with spots and smudges to the panels, and wear with flaking to the paper along the edges.
