Loosely inserted typed signed letter in its original envelope from Lee Harwood to Fred Hunter, 10 Court Royal, Carlton Drive, London, S.W.5. postmarked 18 Feb 1966, the letter addressed from 37 Wellclose Square, London E.1., dated 17 February 66 and consists of about 220 words in which Harwood thanks Hunter for the Ed Dorn tape recorded at Better Books. He goes on to describe a reading held at Chelsea Town Hall saying 'Trocchi, Fainlight, & Dorn especially good. Also Horovitz with endless monologue which seemed like something straight from Jarry.' Loosely inserted unsigned typed printout of a letter from Fred Hunter to Lee Harwood addressed from 9 Upper Park Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT2 5LB to Flat 2, 57 Brunswick Place, Hove BN3 1NE dated January 11 2007 and consisting of about 220 words in which he asks if Harwood still has any tapes from the 1960s. He goes on to say he doesn't think they survived the fire and that Richard Price, curator of the Migrant exhibition, would like to use them. Assorted stories by poet Lee Harwood (1939 2015) who was associated with the British Poetry Revival. His early work resembled the poetry of the New York School, especially that of John Ashbery. Fred Hunter (1934 2012) was an innovator and pioneer of UK broadcasting and journalism education, sound poetry and a media historian. Several minor marks to upper cover, otherwise very good.
