Book
Landscape hardcover, 9" x 11¼", with dustjacket 154 pages Prior to 1924, Ringwood (15 miles east of Melbourne) was largely a rural area where orchards and market gardens abounded. Between the formation of the Borough Council in 1924 and its elevation to city status in 1960, more than 71 major land sundivisions were made. The explosion of population led to rapid expansion of the commercial heart of the town. Includes over 50 archival photographs and four colour paintings. Ours is an ex-library copy with usual stamps, and stickers. GOOD book in GOOD price-clipped dust jacket.
