Signed by Penn Jones Jr on the dedication page, dated 2/14/1975. 188, [3, index], [1] pp. Bound in publisher's yellow wraps lettered in red and black. Second printing of the first edition. Very Good+ with light wear, a few tiny stains to front wrap and edges. Author's stamp advertising volumes 2 & 3 on front wrap. Jones was one of the most indefatigable first generation JFK assassination researchers, who ran the Midlothian Mirror newspaper in Texas, which is still in existence today. This first volume of the eventual four volume series was self-funded and published, consisting mostly of intriguing Warren Commission testimony selections (not generally the soporific material that made it into the one-volume Warren Report) with some commentary on Dorothy Kilgallen and a few Texas journalists, all connected to Jack Ruby, who died mysteriously.
