Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. 1993, 2nd printing of first edition. Accompanied the exhibition of the same name at the Barbican Centre. Various essays by MaryAnne Stevens, J G P Delaney, Lindsay Errington, Benedict Read, Alan Powers and David Fraser Jenkins. Also of course many stunning colour and b&w reproductions of these paintings and drawings, showing many by lesser known artists as well as the more familiar. Very nice, clean, bright, firm copy with just a little light wear to right hand corners, slight fading to spine and very, very faint indentations to front and back. Fairly heavy so may require extra postage for destinations outside UK.
