Hardback. Condition: Acceptable/Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. First assumed in This Editiion. Few areas in Britain contain so many castles or so much historical incident as the coast of North Wales. In Castle of Care, the author gave a faithful picture of the strife between Cavalier and Roundhead in this debateable land. In Ride Gloriously Mr.Tucker has chosen a somewhat similar setting but transferred the action to the stirring days of Elizabeth, linking up the district with the Babington Plot, the Armada menance and, as a climax, the last fight of the Revenge.Red cloth hardback with fading on cover edges. Previous owners name neatly written on front endpaper, slight sunning on endpapers, otherwise clean tight copy in good/acceptable condition, 184pp SIGNED on title page by the Author dated July 6th 1944. Illustrated Dust.Jacket (showing a gentleman draping a cloak over a lady's shoulders) enclosed within the book, needs repairing poor condition. Published by John Long Liimited. Book#03924.
