Book
Soft cover. Condition: Good. 5.5" x 8" softcover book, saddle-stapled in photo illustrated card wraps. 36pp. A very slight wave to the page block, most noticeable to first half of book and front cover, evidently a result of moisture. Two dampstains to outer edges of front cover. Book from the collection of a tobacco smoker, such that covers are somewhat tanned and the book retains a subtle aroma of smoke. Pages within are still remarkably bright and crisp nonetheless, and the binding is sound. A rare example of this issue from San Francisco-based poetry quarterly The Galley Sail Review, containing early verse from both Charles Bukowski and Diane Wakoski, with contributions from John Barkley Hart, Carol Christopher Drake, Pierre Henri Delattre, Alvaro Cardona-Hine, Zack Walsh, Charles Angoff, Emilie Glen, and others.

First Edition
Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Small octavo. 40pp. Very good or better in toned stiff wrappers, slightly rubbed with some wear along the spine and a few scattered spots. Signed or Initialed by William Carlos Williams, Cid Corman, Philip Lamantia, Max Finstein, as well as several other poets we could not definitively identify. It's additionally signed by Betty Boop, John Paul Jones and Napoleon, though we have reason to believe these are not genuine given that one is a cartoon character and the other two had been dead for more than 100 years at the time of this issue's publication. These were done fictitiously by one of the contributors. Nevertheless an interesting and possible unique copy of this poetry magazine.
