4°. 2 nn. Bll., 2020, 112 (Index) S. Halbpergamentband der Zeit Staatsbibl. Sign. Gc 7683-1. NDB VII/695. Ihme 330. NO inscriptions.Vol II Binding fair/good, covers edge worn, corners bumped, starting to split from spine in 3 just holding on. This magazine, is very confusing as some pages are miss-numbered, Vol I works out at 2 more pages than 380 pages, Vol II has 416 pages (a few miss-numbered). Volume One Starts at Vol 1. No 1 Feb 3rd to No. 48 Dec.29th 1838 Volume Two starts at Vol II No 49. Jan 5th to Vol II. No 100 Dec 28th 1839. Sometimes this is credited as compiled & published by G. Berger, But Vol One title page does not even mention Berger, and published by J. W. Southgate , but some weekly parts are published by either G. Berger, or by J. W. Southgate (not both ).Volume II title page states published by G. Berger but weekly parts are published by J. W. Southgate then about halfway through onwards by G. Berger (not both ). Anyway this is a very rare Magazine, only found a couple of copies of Vol II for sale, could not find any vol I for sale or listed. Please Note; large heavy pair, so a surcharge for outside UK, if outside the U.K. Please email 1st re cost of Postage. 25 x 33cm.
