First Edition
Soft Cover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 300 p. The author, a conservative critic of John F. Kennedy, claims to have written this paperback book in two weeks. It is the first highly critical look at Kennedy produced in book form, and was aimed for the voters just weeks before the 1960 election. The book is a little faded on the spine and there are a couple of spots on the front cover, not affecting the text or illustration. The first couple of pages have a very small spotted areas and there is a small, darker spot on the fore-edge of one side of the book. But considering this was a mass-market book, it is in very, very good shape and the paper quality was better than average and thus is not as yellowed and brittle as most paperbacks of this vintage. This is a difficult book to find and an important piece of JFK political history. Lasky would later write a hardcover book that was equally critical. That book was "JFK: Man & Myth," whose publication date was October 1963 - a month before the president was assassinated in Dallas. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
Condition: Very Good. First Edition. A very good+ copy in stapled yellow printed wrappers. (Covers moderately shelfsoiled) Uncommon play about Che Guevara & and the guerrilla movement in Bolivia.
