Illustrated throughout with black-and-white line drawings of moth parts - thoraxes, wings, genitalia, antennae and others. End section is a series of 11 full-page color plates, labeled by number, depicting the moths previously described in the main section of the book; on the page facing each plate is a short description with the corresponding moth's latin name and other relevant information. Covers show normal shelfwear. Small .1", brown, coffee-like stain on top edge of front cover. Top left corner of back cover is creased, and shows more wear than other corners. Binding is square and tight, and pages are clean and unmarked; overall, in very good condition. A combination of field guide and reference work for entomologists, focusing on the moths of the families Mimallonoidea and Bombycoidea. This is an oversized (and overweight) book.
