Black cloth covered boards. Logo blind-stamped on front panel, gilt lettering and illustrations on spine. Front board panel insured in various degrees. Light scuffing of spine lettering and illustrations. Several small scuffs/stains on front and back board panels. Edges at head and tail of board spine are weakened but not rubbed through or frayed. Small bumps on lower fore-edge corners of front and back panels. External page edges are age-darkened. Front and back paste-downs have shadow transfers in addition to partial removal of the paste-down layer along the outside (fore) edges, more so on the front paste-down. Text pages are age-toned, else internally clean. Text block is sound. Dust jacket is soiled overall, more obvious on the white background of back panel which also has several scuffs/scrapes. Jacket spine is faded. All folds are heavily creased; the back spine fold is almost 2/3 separated from the back panel; the front fore-edge fold has several losses and is held together by several old tape reinforcements on the reverse side. Significant loss at the head and tail of jacket spine and back left fore-edge corner. Numerous closed and open tears, chips and rubs along both upper and lower edges. Inside front flap has 2 3/4" by 1 1/4" price clip. The other 3 flap corners have small uniform clips. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition description.
