Short one-page introduction of the history, and various amenities and recreations available to prospective visitors to the famed Manitoba-based National Park. Chiefly comprised of many period black-and-white photogravures of the various landmarks, lakes, beaches, accommodations (lodges, hotels, etc), government buildings, the local R.C.M.P. detachment, and much else. Remarkably well-preserved, and entirely without blemish to the extremities, or contents. Near fine. Rare in commerce. Unrecorded in OCLC. Not in Peel, BAC/LAC, University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections, et al, at time of cataloguing. Nominally corresponds to OCLC #190825930, however, with a different publisher and printer.

Each volume in full burgundy limp leather over stiff card, with gilt titles. Just mild bumping and wear. With gilt edges to text block. Text is bright and clear. Occasional page crease. The box is only in poor condition, with faults and losses. With publisher's printed label to interior. Each volume approximately 700pp (made possible by the use of thin India paper). Text in English. Dimensions: Approximately 124mm high x 74mm wide x 17mm deep (each volume). Boxed size approximately 140mm long x 117mm wide x 90mm high. Weight approximately 852g unpacked (the set). A collection of three works, in the original cloth binding. This collection is comprised of 'The Red Court Farm', 'A Life's Secret' and 'Danesbury House'. 'The Red Court Farm' is the Eightieth Thousand copy. 'A Life's Secret' is the Seventieth Thousand copy. 'Danesbury House' was dated using Jisc, from copies held at Swansea University Libraries. Written by English author Ellen Price, who wrote under the name Mrs. Henry Wood. She is best known for her novel 'East Lynne' and was particularly admired internationally, being widely read in Australia and the US.With eight coloured illustrations to 'Danesbury House'. Collated, complete. With a prize bookplate to 'Danesbury House', of Shawlands Academy awarding the book to Katie McChesney, dated 1908. In the original cloth binding. Externally, 'A Life's Secret' is very smart, with the other works generally smart. Light bumping and rubbing to the extremities, with the odd marking to boards, moreso to 'Red Court Farm'. A touch of fading to the spines. Spine from earlier edition has been laid down to 'Red Court Farm'. Hinges slightly stiff to 'Red Court Farm' due to previous glue repairs. Spine of 'Red Court Farm' is cocked. Ink inscription covered with paper to front endpaper of 'A Life's Secret'. Bookplate to front paste down of 'Danesbury House'. The odd spot to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, if a little age toned. Very Good. book.
