In this study, we constructed a prototype high voltage power supply based on design, simulation and implementation of hardware work in laboratory. The simulation work has been done by using Mat. Lab. Version 7.0 software. This developed equipment will be very useful for field testing of HV cables of different voltage grade, as a prime DC source for VLF and OW testing set and charging unit of impulse generators. 112 pp. Englisch.
