`"Whereas all counties have interesting individual churches, there can be little doubt that the churches of East Anglia, have a predominating interest, for they have a greater wealth of mediaeval roofs, screens, benches and woodwork generally, than any other County. The photographs are an important part of the book, and the fact that most of them were taken by Mr Cautley himself, insures that they portray the outstanding points both inside and outside the buildings." 23cms x 16cms. Pp.xiv/272, many black & white photographs, double page map. Brown cloth, illustrated dustwrapper (Ringland Church, after Albert Ribbans) has minor wear to top edge. VG/VG.
