Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First edition first printing. Ex-Library hardback book with usual faults. Price written on front pastedown, FEP removed, Small red biro 'SF' notation to top corner of title page, neatly crossed through in black biro, under which is a black biro price. Copyright page has two neat library stamps and very small 'SF' red biro notation, lightly crossed through in black biro. No other stamps or notations. Boards sharp and very clean, slight spine lean, bumping to spine ends. Text block clean, with light toning to edges, more pronounced to top edge, that also has a single black pen spot, and a extremely feint red pen mark. Pages the are pages are crisp and unblemished, no turned corners. Feels read but well bound and not loose. Jacket light creasing, along joint of front panel. The rear panel has some very light general creasing from the original library protective cover, although this did protect the jacket from any rubbing or tears. The spine and panels retain the original bold colours, and are very glossy. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. An ex library example of this highly regarded and uncommon Gollancz SF first printing title, whilst it has some of the usual library faults, it is also a very solid copy, with a jacket, that looks really presentable on the shelf, in the new fitted archival cover.
