Book
Hard Cover. Second printing, "2" indicator. 8vo., 303 pgs. A 1971 novel covering many aspects of post-World War II life in America, from immigrant culture to the political events of the 1950s and 1960s; it is in fact a book of memories of its main character, Daniel Isaacson, still grieving his long-dead parents and undertaking a search for meaning thru a series of interviews with their surviving friends. A VG copy with unclipped jacket, and also the "Ramparts" renewal acknowledgment letter which brought the book to its first owner as a premium gift. The only flaw is that there is a lighter rectangular area on the jacket face, where the book was evidently partially shielded for quite a while from sunlight. Very good condition in slightly worn dust jacket.
