Volume II contained two further issues. 4to. pp. 188. Later dark green cloth lettered gilt on spine. Ex Libris bookplate of S. F. Watson the Suffolk printer and book collector and Suffolk Bibliography label numbered 188 on front pastedown endpaper. Suffolk Literary Chronicle stamp on lower corner of text on page 162. John Wodderspoon (1806-1862) journalist, antiquarian and assistant editor of the Norwich Mercury contributed pieces from his early books 'Sketches of the Suffolk Bar' and 'Historic Sites of Suffolk'. He was a reporter for the Suffolk Chronicle for ten years. Includes articles on gypsies, Quakers, tea-making, emigration and the United States, poisoners of the seventeenth century, excerpts from Dickens and others and poems. Ownership inscription on Index page. A few pages lightly damp-stained, otherwise very good Light wear otherwise very good.
