Green cloth boards lettered in gilt at front and spine. Edges slightly rubbed, lower corners bumped, spine top starting to fray. Joints and hinges good, binding firm. Includes reviews of works by Thoreau, William Blake, Carlyle, Longfellow, Frances Hodgson Burnett, Emerson, and Whitman, among others.
