Dieser war der bedeutendste britische Heerführer und Staatsmann der napoleonischen Zeit. Sein größter Erfolg war der Sieg über Napoléon Bonaparte zusammen mit Blücher in der Schlacht bei Waterloo. Später war er dann zweimal Premierminister des Vereinigten Königreichs. - Das Portrait ist eine Inkunabel der Lithographie und zeigt den Herzog von Wellington in prächtiger Uniform, auf der linken Brust fünf Ordenssterne, in der Mitte vier Orden am Band. - Schönes sauberes Portrait auf dem vollen Blatt Kreidelithographie mit ocker Tonplatte von N.
