Tuschen was Madison's first Poet Laureate, appointed by on-again off-again mayor Paul Soglin in 1977; and was deeply influential in Madison cultural life until his death in 2005. Broom Street Theater & its artistic director, Joel Gersmann, were also deeply influential in Madison's cultural life. Stapled pamphlet, white covers, black cover art & titling by Diane Hoffman. Light wear, minor staining to rear cover, irregular tanning to first and last leaves, slightly affecting the title. Text clean; 20 pages. Scarce. Size: 5½" by 8½".
