Between pages 40 and 41 there are 16 pages of black and white photography; and there are a few black-and-white line drawings within the text. Pain brown coloured textured cover with black coloured titles. Quoting from the introduction page 7 " . This report details mainly with the methods of topic proofing of optical instruments developed by the Scientific Instruments and Optical Panel, Ministry of Munitions, Commonwealth of Australia, when it was found necessary to prevent fungal deterioration of optical instruments." This book is an ex-library copy with a red cancellation to the front panel being the only indication of same. Some creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels.
