Laid in, as found, is photograph of the Virgin of Fatima. Unpriced, unclipped DJ has photo of Father Frederic on front panel, " A Warm Welcome to Father Frederic's Crypt-Museum " on rear panel, and spine carries the date 1959. [About the Authors], Preface by j and t, dated September 1972. 41 full plate sketches on heavy stock, rough cut on fore edge. Pictures are of Kingston scenes, signed, with some dated, by Trudy Doyle accompanied by the 'shaped ' text of James Doyle on pages of different colours. Brown buckram covered boards have gilt text on spine and front panel. Spine partially held together by gauze at pp. 2 & 3., extremities are scuffed. Bookseller's Inventory # 050211.

Laid in: Preview Programme for the book launch on February 8, 1973 at 84 Stephen St., Kingston, Ontario 8 p.m. Book was published as a Kingston Tercentenary (1673-1973) Project to Commemorate the Founding of the First White Civilization at Cataraqui, (Kingston), July, 1673. Frontis (SIGNED): C.P. Matthews, B.A., B. Paed. Book also carries the signature of Almon F. Doolan, who was one of the first lay teachers in 1935, and went on to become the first female principal in 1941. She is also included in the Chapter 8 Personality Profiles and Acknowledgements by the author. Appendix Number Four records an interview with Mrs. Majoros. (pp.200-210). Book has gilt text and decoration (CRCSSB crest) on spine and front panel. Spine ends are lightly rubbed , a 6" scratch extends accross the front panel but left no trace on the DJ. OW the book is as new. Unclipped, wraparound DJ has edge/surface wear with some chipping. DEDICATION: To Mr. Joseph _____ with my thanks Louis J. Flynn 8 February 1973.
