Generally good condition, the books had a makeshift paper wrapping glued inside the covers which has left residue on the endpapers and in a few places on the exterior of the first volume, otherwise modest wear including a few tiny chips, good hinges, sound text blocks, bookplates partially removed from front free endpapers, pages clean with occasional light foxing, name in pencil on front free endpaper, no other markings.
