Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. 12mo, [2], 24, 12, [18], [19]-220pp., bound in mid-twentieth century green half morocco, buff cloth boards. Title-page somewhat browned with small defect from old erasure at head, occasional light foxing, terminal blank X6 present but defective at top edge; all in all a very good copy in a practical rather than elegant binding. Earlier paste-down end-papers laid down, with 1823 signature (repeated at head of title) of Joseph Robertson Raines. The - presumably earlier - issue without the 4pp. dedication to the King; the collation varies slightly from the two given by ESTC, with the contents and subscribers lists bound after the Introduction.
