Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. Dust Jacket Condition: Good+. First Edition. Two typed letters (signed) from Theodora B. Marshall to Burton Milward, literary editor of the Lexington Herald-Leader are laid in. Both the letters (December 26 and December 30, 1939) concern a forthcoming review. In addition to the letters, also present are the original envelopes, a copy of the review and a four page advertising piece for the book are laid in. Black-and-white illustrations and photographs. The dust jacket is protected by a Brodart mylar cover. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Most books shipped within 24 hours. All books mailed with Delivery Confirmation. The book's top edge has scattered staining as does the fore edge to a lesser degree. The dust jacket has scattered foxing as well as chipping, closed tears, rubbing and creasing at the extremities.
