Fairley adds biographical chapters on Sverdrup: his explorations before & after this expedition, the territory dispute between Canada & Norway. The book measures 220mm tall x 138mm, and has 305 pages, 10 b/w photos, 11 maps, index. The book is in fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing, clean, no foxing, solid binding.
