First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Louise Zibold (illustrator). 1st Edition. Ling Tang and the Lucky Cricket was written by Kay Stafford and illustrated by Louise Zibold. The book was published by Whittlesey House for the Junior Literary Guild in 1972 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It's an ex-library copy in good condition with library markings and library wear including occasional soiling (not bad at all in this book) where little hands may not have been completely clean when turning the page. I guess this indicates the book was popular . . . and does add a touch of nostalgia. It has no dust jacket, and has been rebound by the library in nice, clean, sturdy, cloth boards. The book is 7 5/8" by 10 1/8" and has 80 pages with both black-and-white and color illustrations throughout. Thank you!.
