This work aims to provide in-depth comments on all 224 games of Super-Tournament of category 18 and further, that is the match Ivanchuk-Panomariov, the tournaments Corus (Wijk ann Zee), Linares, NAO Masters (Cannes), Candidates Tournament (Dortmund). However, except the above-mentioned events, there were many other interesting competitions in the chess world of 2002. A grand Open with a prize fund of $150000 was held in Moscow. More than 50 Grandmaster participated in the main tournament. FIDE announced the World Chess Grand Prix consisting of 5 tournaments with the guaranteed prize fund of $120000 for each tournament. Also matches between the strongest Grandmasters and the best computer chess programs were held. The team "Rest of the World" at last beat the "Russian" team, though only in raped chess (two previous matches Russia vs World held in 1970 and 1984 ended up with the victory of Russia, they were played with the classic time control). And of course there should be mentioned the Club Championships, the 35th Olympiad and the great number o rapids. Condition: A fine copy.
