Wraps. Condition: Very good. Presumed First Edition, First printing. Unpaginated (approximately 250 pages). Illustrations. Cover has slight wear and soiling. Minor pencil erasure residue on fep. Alphabetical Index of Awards and Trophies. Index of Awards and Trophies by Sponsoring Organizations. Addenda by Sponsoring Organizations. Personal Name Index. Foreword by Michael Collins. The origin of this project was a request for information which led to the realization that no comprehensively research document addressing all the various aviation and space awards and trophies existed. This work seeks to address this reference information gap. This publication is organized by administrator of the award, name of the award, purpose of the award, date established, nature of the award (i.e. medal, monetary, trophy) ad the recipients of the award and the date they received it. Each Administrator is numbered by section with a numerical subsection for each award and trophy. An addenda contains organizations and their awards that either were received too late for inclusion in the main body of the text or were considered historically important to include after the first compilation was completed.
