Along with Diego Rivera and José Clemente Orozco, he established 'Mexican Muralism'. The catalog was published on the occasion of the exhibition held in the Museo Nacional de Arte, Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, Mexico City in 28.11.1996-16.2.1997, exploring an extremely fruitful decade of Siqueiros' work, which he partly spent in exile in the United States and which ended in his participation in an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Leon Trotsky in May 1940. The exhibition was also held in the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Santa Barbara CA in 8.3-11.5.1997 and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston TX 1.6-22.7.1997. 102 color and b&w plates. 320x240mm. 238 pages.
