Revised Draft script for the 1982 film, here under the working title "Traces." Annotation in manuscript pencil on the front wrapper, noting the release title. During his business trip to New York, a Chicago architect unwittingly becomes the chief suspect in a murder investigation. Originally developed as a sequel to the 1980 hit "Stir Crazy," directed by Sidney Poitier and starring Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor, the script was rewritten for a female co-lead when Pryor chose not to participate. The second collaboration between Poitier and Wilder, and the film in which Wilder met co-star and future romantic partner Gilda Radner. Set and shot on location in Massachusetts and New York. Goldenrod titled Studio Duplicating Service wrappers. Title page present, dated 4/6/81, noted as Revised Screenplay, with credits for screenwriters Henry Rosenbaum and David Taylor. 128 leaves, with last page of text numbered 127.
