Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. First edition (same date on title and copyright pages with no additional printings listed). Hardcover, very good in fair dustjacket. Minimally marked ex-library (only a bookplate on paste down front end paper, date slip on rear endpaper, no numbers on spine, etc. ). Dustjacket lightly age tanned, jagged 1 ½ inch tear and corresponding crease on top edge of rear panel, several lesser tears and chips, approximately 4x4 inch paint brush mark on rear panel, corners of front flap clipped, with price rubber stamped there. Book itself has foxing on cloth and on and adjacent to frontispiece, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked, probably never really read. Autobiography; circus; clowns.
