This appears to be one of the 1200 copies produced on machine made paper. A former library book with the usual stamps and stickers and in a hardcover binding without a dust wrapper. Shows some reading wear and marks but is generally a sound and tidy copy apart from the front end paper has split on the hinge, although the hinge is still secure. The back hinge is sound. There is some wear to the edges of the two tone green boards. A heavier book, please enquire about shipping costs to your destination if not in the UK. Condition: Good. 1927. 415 pages. No dust jacket. Brown marbled boards with a black cloth spine and gilt lettering. Vol.III. Rough cut pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. A few pages are uncut, thus unread. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed.
