Second printing, 8vo., pp.212, green cloth lettered in white, b/w frontispiece and numerous illustrations within; light bruising to corners, a very good copy, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket, which has loss to head/foot of spine and corners of front panel, as well as 5cm closed tear and crease from front lower margin.
First edition (ie first impression), hardback. 8vo (22cm by 14cm), 212pp. Text illustrations by D J Watkins-Pitchford (BB). Original green cloth, dustwrapper. There is some tanning of the contents, else the book is in very good condition; the dustwrapper is in fair condition only (chipped and torn with loss to the top edge). The dustwrapper has now been put in a mylar cover to protect it.
