Williams created the original Crawdaddy! magazine in 1966. It was a well-received and thoughtful magazine covering the rock and roll scene of the 1960's. These four issues of the "New" Crawdaddy! are all three-hole punched and included in an unprinted black folder. New Issue #1 features articles on R.E.M., Neil Young, Bruce Cockburn and more. 14 pp. New #2 features Wiliams' article on Arrested Development, Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello and Tom Waits. 16 pp. New #3 features Williams on The Beach Boys. 14 pp. Lastly, New #14 from Autumn 1996 features Michaelangelo Matos and others on James Brown plus other features. 18 pp. Other than the hole-punch, these issues are all in fine condition. A very non-glossy magazine. All business.
