Single foolscap sheet, slightly foxed. This notice prints a dispatch from detective Jules P. Rochaix to the Sydney Inspector General of Police, reporting the imminent retrenchment of 200 Chinese miners from the Nickel Company of New Caledonia, and fears that they will come to New South Wales. This appears to be quarantine issue rather than a criminal one, in that 'It is these Chinese that the introduction of the fever 'dengue' in New Caledonia is attributed.' .
