Subtitle: being the history of a colony of German, Lutheran, Protestants who emigrated to Georgia in 1734 and settled at Ebenezer 25 miles above the city of Savannah 308 text page hardcover. Lower half of spine is missing, and front cover is loose -almost detached. 2 plates. The original and should probably be rebound - the interior is good.

Previously owned by Georgia historian Malcolm Bell, his name is on FFEP as well as initials of someone else.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. First Edition. VG+/0/1st ed. A nice solid copy of the first edition. Brown embossed cloth over boards with wear through to boards at the very tip of both covers at the tail end. Small rubbed area on back near bottom of spine. Gilt on spine present and easily read. Interior of book has an occassional spot of foxing, otherwise book is free of markings or soiling. Binding is tight, all tissue paper is present before illustrations, with no wear to hinges. Pages are not brittle and have stayed fairly white. Book is in excellent collectible shape, and comes to you in an acid free archival document bag for storage. Mailed boxed, and I can have it in the mail tomorrow. LRBC.
