This 1956 edition is "completely different from the 3-volume History of Modern Painting published some years ago." 339 pages; most pages are dated at top for easy reference. Book has small smudge on front flyleaf, no other marks, creases or tears; very faint darkening along page edges. Jacket back has large chip on back, tear secured on reverse with clear removable tape, edge wear at head of spine. (images show defects) 10" x 13 1/2". Book weighs over 6 lbs, sorry no international mailings.
