First edition (hardback). 12mo (18cm x 12cm), 252pp, 40pp adverts. Folding map, chromolithographic frontispiece, 2 folding coloured panoramas, engraved plates and text illustrations. Original burgundy cloth spine, illustrated grey boards. The head of the spine is chipped, the lower joint has split (and has been repaired), the endpapers are chipped, and there are neat repairs to the folding map. Only a fair to good copy overall, but the contents are clean and tightly bound, and this is suitable as a reading, working or reference copy. Text in French.
