Of these about 250 were transferred to the 40th N. Y. Vols., of which 150 were effective, the others being in hospital, sick. Thus it will be seen that the regiment lost during its term of service about 1,000 men.: Prominent battles included: Drury's Bluff, Petersburg Heights, Siege of Petersburg, Chapin's Farm, Darbytown Road, and Fort Fisher. Spine is faded; internally, miminal foxing. Very good. (106).
