Original movie prop book used in the making of the film Copying Beethoven directed by Agnieszka Holland, starring Ed Harris as German composer Ludwig van Beethoven, Diane Kruger as his fictionalized copyist and muse Anna Holtz, Joe Anderson, Ralph Riach, and Matthew Goode. The book is a beautifully bound oblong composition book (13Ó x 9 1/2Ó) with dark green cloth at the spine and corners and marbled paper at the boards and endpapers, of the score for BeethovenÕs ÔNinth Symphony.Õ which is one of the two score books used by Ed Harris and Diane Kruger when she helped Harris conduct the world premiere of the 9th Symphony. The first page has a printed inscription from Beethoven to Anna: ÒMy Dear Anna, You are the angel of my soul. The only hand I trust to bear it across the tides of time.Ó Near fine copy.Enclosed in a morocco and cloth custom box. With a DVD of the film.
