Five items of theatricalia from productions by Oxford University, comprising: [1] Promotional leaflet (giving dates of performances), 'The Trinity Players and Saint Hilda's College Dramatic Society present "Toad of Toad Hall" by A.A. Milne in the grounds of St. Hilda's College', May 28th-June 3rd, [1953]. Leaflet printed to recto, with text printed over illus. of Toad (printed in green), specially drawn by David Langdon (leaflet faintly creased at top corner, but clean/fresh/bright); [2] Promotional leaflet (variant of previous item), showing 'Toad' illus. by D. Langdon/poem/dates of production printed in black, with 'Today' over-printed in red (leaflet very clean/crisp/fresh/bright); [3] Promotional leaflet for the OUDS production of Shakespeare's 'Richard III' in the Oxford Playhouse, 3rd-7th March (circa 1950s); play produced by David Thompson/John Wood. Leaflet printed in red to recto on pale blue paper (leaflet clean and very crisp/bright); [4] Promotional leaflet for the production (by the John Ford Society of Exeter College) of the play 'The Male Animal' by James Thurber/Elliott Nugent, in the Clarendon Press Institute - 8th-11th February (circa 1955). Printed in black on thin pink card, folded into [4]pp.; illustration printed to p.[1] (p.[1] slightly soiled, but leaflet quite crisp/very bright); [5] Promotional leaflet for the University Players' production of 'He Who Gets Slapped' by Leonid Andreyeff at the Clarendon Press Institute, 2nd-6th February, circa 1950s. Thin card printed (with illus.) in yellow/blue to recto. (leaflet quite clean and very crisp/bright). No inscriptions.
