Hardcover, brown cloth with full-page color plate psted on front, 31 cm, 38 pp. There were earlier editions with this title, but Schuyler Mathews' rendition iwas the first to actually have melodies -- written music! Melody line in treble clef plus simple bass clef for the 33 childrens songs from familiar nursery rhymes; each page decorated with color illustration by Mathews. Ex-library with few marks (none external, none front, stamp on title page, pocket rear; no other); solid; corners bumped and worn. Softcover. Condition: Fair. Illustrated by Harlow, Louis K. (illustrator). Lower outer corners in rear have an area of chewing, approx. 3/8" an edge on rear cover, reduces on last few leaves. Front cover has a large, blotchy area of discoloration or staining. Front cover also has two larger but slight damp stains to the margins and some very small stains. Rear cover has a stain near the upper outer corner. Covers have creasing to the lower outer corners. Contents very good. ; Approx. 9 1/8" wide by 5 3/8". Pages tied with thin cord.
