Marshall to Burton Milward, literary editor of the Lexington Herald-Leader are laid in. Both the letters (December 26 and December 30, 1939) concern a forthcoming review. In addition to the letters, also present are the original envelopes, a copy of the review and a four page advertising piece for the book are laid in. Black-and-white illustrations and photographs. The dust jacket is protected by a Brodart mylar cover. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Most books shipped within 24 hours. All books mailed with Delivery Confirmation. The book's top edge has scattered staining as does the fore edge to a lesser degree. The dust jacket has scattered foxing as well as chipping, closed tears, rubbing and creasing at the extremities. There are also old jacket tape repairs with the tape remaining. Very good - condition in good + dust jacket. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo.; 236 pages.

Bound in green pictorial paper wraps lettered and decorated in black, light corer crease. [OCLC shows a 27 pages issue in 1937. There is no record of the 1940 edition.].
