Decorative Cloth. Condition: Good. Marjorie Hartwell, Rachel Taft Dixon, Hugh Spencer (illustrator). No Cover. Ex-Library. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This dark orange decorative cloth hardcover older children's reading book is in great shape for its age. The covers have minor wear on the faces and around the edges but they are in great shape. The spine is quite tight. The pages are white with only minor wear and a few marks and lines on just a few pages. There is a school name stamped inside the covers but no pocket or other evidence of a library book and the book has been well cared for. The illustrations are very good and helpful for younger readers to follow the story. Some of the illustrations are in color! 127 pages with a word list and several pages of color pictures of animals and bugs mentioned in the text.
