First Edition. THE SPECTATOR CLUB / A Miscellany being Amateur Spectator Volume 1, #3; Agenbite of Inwit Volume 5, #1 & 2; Nonce Volume 1, #1; Charter Volume 1, #1; P.D. Volume 1, #1 & 2; More or Les' Volume 1, #1, 1948, first editions, 8 volumes in total, near fine. Contributors to these volumes are Robert W. Lowndes, Charles Dye, Alexandra Krinkin, H. Beam Piper, John D. MacDonald, Nat Schachner, Lester Del Rey, Philip Klass, Morton Klass, Theodore Sturgeon, Hannes Bok, Fred Pohl, et.al. This prozine was open to both professional and semi-professional writers and was initially made up of writers from N.Y.C. and nearby N.J. It lasted a very short time (about 2 years) and publication hovered between 25 and 50 members (read copies), thus making this prozine quite scarce. Indeed, there are no copies in the Eaton Collection. The complete issue of More or Less released in April of 1948 offered herein consists of 10 pages, all by Lester Del Rey, making a good argument that this and not AND SOME WERE HUMAN--- is his true first book. Formerly the copies of co-founder Philip Klass. Nice association thus.
